Well if your looking for deeper, you will get it with the zombies but keep in mind you get increased volume as well. I woukd say, and this is not scientific just my ear measurements that the zombies are about 1/3 louder at idle and at least 1/2 as loud again than the regular baffles, perhaps 3/4 as loud again at full throttle. Let me put it this way....your neighbors on the other side of the subdivision will know when you leave the house. :-)

First, I think technically anything that is not HD can void warranty.
Not true, that would run afoul of Magnuson Moss. If the part is EPA-compliant and a "replacement part", they can't void the warranty over you using it - UNLESS it can be shown to be the cause of the failure.
The problem with the '18 Softails (other than the Fat Bob) is that the cats are in the mufflers, so to get an EPA-compliant muffler, the manufacturer would have to put catalytic converters in them. And most don't. I'm sure some will at some point. The Street Cannons are a safe bet as they are EPA-compliant. The Fat Bob mufflers from S&S and Rinehart are EPA-compliant. It's confusing, but for Fat Boy users, yeah, if you want to guarantee that your warranty remains intact, you'd have to find slip-ons that have cats in them.

I see that thrown around all over the internet. Think about this....you would spend more in attorney fees and court cost than your bike cost new. The M&M act is nice but not much help if you have to drop the dough to take advantage of it. In all my time on sites I have never seen a single person say they took legal advantage of this act.
Here is a pretty good video on you tube of Tab slip ons with zombie baffles. Kind of gives you a good idea of just how loud they can get. Just type in for a search.

No gasket used. The muffler reduces down to clamp directly to header pipe (like the old days 🙂 and no leaks for me.
I like the sound at idle, under load and cruising. Backing off and between shifts there is a burble that is not to my liking. I usually like the burble but this one is more like V&H that I've had on other bikes - not deep. I'm a deep freak and would like them better if deeper all around ... but to me definitely worth the price at this point.
Also worth mentioning is reverting back to stock is all of a 15 minute job so plan on doing that before taking back to dealer for anything.
I forgot to ask, forgive me for all the questions. Did you get your bike retuned for the new slip ons?
I got my slip ons and had sometime to install them tonight. These are the louvered baffle and the long series for the softail. Nice product well made and install was a breeze. No gasket is required on these. Here is quick video which of course isnt super great. It is pouring rain here so no test ride yet. The sound is awesome I cant imagine having the zombie series 😂
Sorry i was on vacation i did not re-tune i already had a SE tuner on the bike. It didn't need any change. I have no decel pop or back fire. And for those of you with a fatboy looking at the rinehart pipes they are super short . The heat shields stick out way past the pipe. Also the TAB does not use a gasket like the stock pipes.
