It is not too difficult, it is much easier with a J-puller slide hammer you can get one at Harbor Freight for about $20. Just 3 allen head bolts to back out, take out the tips and then pull the baffle using the slide hammer. Then put the others back in, line up the baffle and the slip over tube inside the muffler, pound them in with a mallet making sure the bolt hole on the case lines up with the nut on the baffle cap and then pop the mufflers back on the bike.
Hey, I just got these pipes for my 2018 Heritage and when I went to bolt the mulffler to the head pipe. The muffler clamp doesnt tighten down far enough to secure the muffler to the head pipe. Not sure if they sent me the right pipe. No packaging invoice or instructions. Did you guys have any issues with the install?

Your new slip ons should have come with new clamps. Mine did. I made the mistake of just using the original clamps which were too large in diameter. I then noticed the new clamps. After some minor cursing and the re-installation, all was right in the world.
Thanks! I figured something had to be missing, because it was no way those stock clamps are fitting. Checked the box and packaging like 20 times and no new clamps. Will have to give Tab Performance a call on Monday. Thanks again!
It took me about thirty minutes to install. The new clamps work great and make an awesome seal. I have the zombie baffles which is just a 2 1/2 inch pipe inside the 3 1/2 muffler. That is it...period. They are just as well made as my street cannons. Sound wise......oh my goodness. Frankly next to straight pipes nothing is louder, as a matter of fact they are just as loud as straight pipes in my opinion. At idle the deep rumble with my cam is music to the ear. They are about eight pounds lighter than SC and with my stage three dyno they got about five more horses than the street cannons. Very pleased.

Could you post a picture of your bike with the pipes? Thanks in advance
My Tabs sound killer and i have the quieter baffle! I cant imagine having the zombie LOL!
Speaking of videos....itd be great to hear the quiet baffle too for comparison sake. Not much on youtube with the quiet baffle and the Zombie vids are too short or inside a garage with echo...
