Speaking of videos....itd be great to hear the quiet baffle too for comparison sake. Not much on youtube with the quiet baffle and the Zombie vids are too short or inside a garage with echo...
BigRed, aside from volume how to you like the tone of the pipes?
Well I have 117 cubes so keep in mind my sound is going to be just a tad deeper. Frankly, if you want that straight pipe sound this is it. I have sat right next to a 103 straight bike and my pipes were much deeper and louder as well. The best explanation is you get that straight pipe sound with these mufflers. It may be too much for some but I love it. These things are really well made in the great state of Nebraska.
Could you post a picture of your bike with the pipes? Thanks in advance
Bike is in the shop getting apes and final dyno tune. Have to wait for awhile. Frankly the look just like stock. I have black heat shields so I got black tips. They look no different than stock.....till you start it up.

C’mon guys, help those in need of a fix
Listen, if you type “Tab Performance” in search on YouTube there are plenty of comparison vids. Tab has there own where they go through all iterations including no baffles at all. I think you will agree the zombie baffles sounds even better than no baffles at all. They have a more tinny sound with out the baffles.

I’ll check out those vids. Ones I’ve seen weren’t recorded well, but maybe I missed some.
As for straight pipes, I love them, but in this case the louvered baffle might be the right choice. I’d like to make sure they are significantly stronger than the Street Canons though which I’ve gotten a bit over...mine actually sound quieter over the miles...unless I’m just getting more deaf?!?!?!!?!
Looked again, the vid you’re talking about is the touring bike one? I wish they’d do that for the Softail line too since they usually sound pretty different. Interesting to hear though. Thanks for the tip.
