Is there a good mounting point bolt hole about 2 inches from the end of the pipe (maybe where the endcap attaches) or would I need to drill my own?
Yep you would have to drill a hole. The tips are pretty long at least four inches.

The best I can describe the zombie is you get the sound of an old pan head bike, if you remember ....it’s that potato, potato, potato sound. That continues at speed unless you really hit the throttle then you get the big roar! Good luck on your decision.

Thanks for all the info. It helps fill in the blanks in the sound quality that videos always leave. You had me at “old pan head”...

Actually the tips have 4 locations to screw into and only 2 are used. You could get a 1/4 x 20 thumb screw and thread it into one of the unused spots in tip and be good to go. They are 2 1/2 " in from the back end of the tips.

Interesting. Mine are totally different. No holes and tips are at least four inches long.

Well...maybe I’ll be the tie breaker.

I’ll post up what holes I get.

I just stopped by dealer to see how they are coming along got on my hands and knees with flash light. I looked again. My set up is black tip and black mufflers. Sure enough there are two extra holes I just could not see them as it was black on black. I stand corrected and apologize for the erroneous information.

I just hate giving out erroneous information. Just lazy on my part and no excuse.
