so i have a question. I have searched through the threads and havent found a answer. i have 16 inch pudgy midget gimps going on my 08 crossbones. now i did a mock up and my cables are really close to fitting. it originally had the beach bars on it so i dont know if that makes the cables any longer then when they have the mini apes. im just wondering if anyody has put these same bars in the same height on a crossbones what size cables did you run
Don't know if this helps. I did the reverse, I went from the original mini apes on the Xbones to the narrow beach bar and had to get shorter cables. The originals were too long.
Info on that handlebar:
Crossbones Black Narrow Beach Handlebar
These gloss black 1" handlebars are unique to the FL SoftailŽ SpringerŽ models. The narrow beach bar style captures the attitude of traditional beach bars, without the wide riding position. Finish the blacked-out look with complementing Diamond-Black cables and brake lines. Installation requires separate purchase of additional components. Handlebar dimensions: Tip to Tip Width 30.7"; Base Width 18.75"; Rise (Inside) 3.00"; Pull Back 8.00"; Knurl Center-to-Center 4.76"; Rise (Tip-to-Base) (Outside) 8.25".

I put a set of 16" apes on my bike last winter and I replaced all the cables. I can confirm when I get home later but my memory is that I went with stock plus 8" for the throttle, brake line and plus 10" for the clutch cable.
I went from the stock 12" mini apes to custom made bars that measure in the 16" range and there is no way the stock cables would have reached. I got my cables from Magnum Shielding and I recall when searching up the Crossbones they had the stock length measurements on their table for cable lengths. May be useful to measure your current cables and see if they are stock lengths or were changed when the beach bars were installed
PM me if want me to confirm the lengths that I used or want any more pics of my setup.
