I HAVE. the extension turn signal switch cover caps, 2 pieces.
.., no cruise control, its a 2008 Rocker C...
Straight forward, as far as controls etc,
I have switch housing apart, I see the new caps, have a tiny hole,
I guess for the spring to set switch back to neutral after actuation?
So, Do I leave housing & old switch in split housing?
<meaning actual switch & metal bracket it sits in, that hold the metal bracket/turn switch into bottom of actual Switch Housing?
OPEN switch cover<SPLIT> and "pry" off from the inside,
& it will just POP back on?
something tells me, its not the 5 minute job I keep hearing about?
proper protocol to do swap would be appreciated....
As stated both housing are split, wire run thru bars, so limited space,
but I can get at, also do I pop the round side off first?
Or the Star side off first? will the spring, get wacky... thanks alot
Been thinking about getting thes, since I saw them on eBay for about $10-15, and wondered if they were as easy as it looks like they should be. Now I know. Thanks, @Rakthi!!
Are these more difficult to install than the 71500110 chrome switch cap kit? I have installed several of the kits without any problem, cant see why the extension caps would be any more difficult????
