Mayfair: Yes there is considerable difference. I'ts hard to duplicate exact conditions of air temp and humidity unless you take a reading and change the oil and take another reading with all things as equal as the first test. My temp has never climbed as high over the week of riding in what appears to me the same conditions. Could be my roller bearings are now skating instead of rolling creating less friction and heat. Sorry, couldn't resist that one.
