So my windshield came in Friday and I am mounting it myself. Ready for a good 200 mile ride tomorrow without oilfield trucks throwing rocks at my face and gonna pick up my favorite tamales from La Nortina in Pecos Texas I am stoked. Open the box and the shield is fully assembled except mounting hardware, check out a you tube video looks easy...... Put the screws through the washer and grommet, there are four of each, bottom ones go into fork not as tight as I would like but ok, top ones stop with about 1/4 inch of thread left and damn the parts that go into grommets fit except one of the top ones that are out of alignment and I would have to bend the whole thing about a 1/4 inch to get the last one to fit, 400 bucks yeah I am not about to do that and crack the windshield. I flip through the manual and see parts 15 and 16 which are spacers for the top and bottom, ehhh they didn't come in the packet! Should these have come with it or do I need to wait until Tuesday to go to dealership and spend like 10 buck im sure on rubber spacers or can I grab something at Lowe's and enjoy my green chilie chicken tamales for dinner tomorrow?
