Default Ultima King Spokes for 04' Night train

Looking at upgrading from the stock train wheel setup, and I would love the black rim/chrome fat spoke look. I have been doing some research with the ultima wheels, but still had a couple of questions.

I realize I will have to buy 3/4 bearings to replace the 1" ones they come with (front and back I assume?), but aside from that, should my stock spacers and such work? From what I have read, the adapters available from ultima don't work properly spacing wise.

Size wise I believe for my 04' I would need the 21x2.15 for the front and the 16x3.5" for the rear, but I'm not 100% sure if those sizes would work with factory 04' train tire sizes.

Any input you guys have with this would be great. I have changed wheel and tire sizes on cars of all sorts, but bikes are new to me so just trying to make sure I get it right

21 x 2.15 front and 16 x 3 rear.
Here's a link to what fits:

Thanks for the reply!

wondering how wide I can go on the back with the stock fender? Wouldn't mind adding some meat back there if I can

On that chart, at the far right column tells you how big you can go without modifications.

It lists a larger wheel both in width and diameter (18" wheel), but I'm wondering how wide I can go with a 16" rim before having issues with clearance

Most tire manufacturers will list acceptable rim widths for a given tire width. My previous research revealed that a 160 wide tire is as big as you can go with the 16 X 3 wheel, IIRC.

I know it's an older post, I am facing some of the same issues. Putting an 18 x 5.5 on rear of 07 Night Train, still working on the spacing issues that would have been easier to cut losses and bought new tire and wheel. Wanted to see what you had come up with?

Your 07' fits a wider tire and rim then my 04', so it wouldn't compare

I ended up going with stock sized front and back wheels (21x2.15 front, 16x3.5 rear), black hoops and hubs with chrome spokes (40) on Metzeler Marathon 888 tires
