Do you really have to remove the fuel tank on a 2018 Heritage to change the 2 plugs on the right side? I don't think it's a big deal to remove it, but just wondering if there is a way around it?
It's possible to loosen the tank, and pivot it out of the way, but if you're going that far another minute or two will have it completely off the bike. A nearly empty tank makes it easier. I also use this tool to pull stubborn boots. The right side plugs are recessed, making it difficult to get a finger grip on the boots.
Would somebody realy spend four bucks plus shipping for a piece of rubber hose they could get for about a dollar at Auto Zone or about fifty cents for the clear stuff at ACE Hardware???
