i am putting a 103 cid kit on my 07 FXSTC. the guy doing it for me told me i should replace the 42mm efi to the 50mm efi. i ordered it and i was just wondering if anyone else has put the 103 in there bike yet and if so did you put the 50mm efi or did u just leave it stock? thanks
yes with a 103 all i have to do is the top end rebuild. to get a 110 i have to split my case. so far i got $4000.00 (in parts no labor)into the 103 and it is a built 103 i will tell u that. i dont even want to think how much a 110 would add the the price.
ok did u have any dyno work done. like what is your HP and tourk. and let me know what all you put in the motor.
i did the following:
Screaming eagle 103 jugs
Screaming eagle pistons (10.5:1 comp) with the heads to match
Woodson 650 grear cams
screaming eagle push rods
50mm EFI
Oil cooler
Diamond cut head and jugs
i was told that my old efi would work but i would not get all the power out of the motor that i put into it. let me know what you have in yours thanks
I had my o7 Night train done up to a 103 straight from the dealer. They installed a 50mm throttle body and D&D fatcat exhaust. They used a Dobeck tfi gen 3 for efi management system .Then found they couldn't map the fuel properly with the tfi .I just got my SERT and am sheduled in for a SERT install and Dyno tune come july 11 .Ill post my results if i can get any dyno imfo back from the dealer.Im in no position to advise any 1 on efi matters .From this past experience I would highly recomend going with a SERT if you do all of that to your engine .They claim once they dyno it with the sert it will add another 7to8 HP and will run smooth without any decel popping .
