Well, I sold my Deuce to a friend and made a deal on an '07 canyon Copper CVO springer!
I've done everything to the Deuce that I planned to do, I'm sorry to see the deuce go but I'll be picking up the CVO on Friday!
the only thing on the CVO springer that I feel I may need to change is the exhaust, everything else is exactly the way I would have done it![sm=Awwww.gif]
You know I'll be posting pics when I get it.......................
If I had the $$$ I'd sellthe Standard and head down to the stealerto score one of those '08 CVO Springers myself...IMO it's the best looking bike out of the box that I've seen in a while...first pic I saw made me want one. The Deuce of yours is no dog, but the CVO Springer is SWEET!
Great bike, but there will be some other things you will have to change out. The fender strut boltsare not chrome and dont go with the lines. Little things like that will bug you, nothing $300 or so cant fix. Also the thing runs hot as hell and you will need to change to a premium synthetic and change out your stock ECM. This bike is awsome.
Damn, another Deucer bites the dust, this is getting out of control - three in just a couple months - ya sure they (1Deuce3 and BlueDeuce) said they'd stay around and post, well the proof ain't been in the puddin' [:@] now you too!! Arrggghhh
But seriously, as I said before DB that CVO Springer is one bad *** machine and one that could almost make me stray - congrats, be sure to stay around, we enjoy your company in the Deuce thread - pics better be soon to come
