Hey guys, I just removed this side panel on my 95 FB to get to the transmission drain plug and I don't know
what this black rubber hose is?
It's not connected to anything but it's plugged off at the end with a bolt and hose clamp?
Any ideas on what this could possibly be?
Also, Is that the rear brake switch, with the two connectors on it?
thank you,
Spiros

As mentioned, you're good to go.... oil tank drain and rear brake switch...
FYI.....
The softail EVO engines had a plug in the end of the hose, coming from the oil tank.... Can't tell from your pic, but that's either the proper OEM plug (kinda looks like a bolt) or the prior owner lost the plug, and just used a bolt...
Yeah, it's just a bolt....but it's on there pretty good!
I have to replace the brake switch too.... You have to press the rear brake pedal kinda hard & all the way down for the brake light to come on.
Going to clean the connectors or splice new ones and clean the switch and see if that helps? Switch is $25 from dealer anyways....
Thanks for the diagram
