Well, I started this thread and I guess its time to eat a little crow. You see, I was searching for guidence on whether to install enigine guards on my Deuce. I thought that the guards would look bad. In fact, I was worried about looking like some kind'a WEENIE for having them. I stated that I would not! Well....I now have them. Yes....I put them on my "vicious" looking Deuce. Hey, they don't look THAT BAD!
Hey Jezcruzen,
I'm a weenie too. I recently had an accident....Just a fender bender, but none the less, the engine (CRASH) guard really helped. Read my thread about it in the General area. (Had I known that this thread was running, I would have posted it here).

Thanks for the info. $239.95 HD list. $191.96 at Surdyke. Now I'm really thinking! A friend has been dying for a Lindby for his Heritage. Hmmm. Maybe I'll sell him mine and go for the Moustache.
Which crash bar is wider the Linby or the Harley version? I got a SG and thinking of getting one of the two and I want the widest bar. I dant want any thing any more narrow than I have now. One other question, the small rings on the Linby bars how durable are they or is that a maintenance issue? The harley bar has a different disign that maybe better. What does every one think? Need feed back here Please send me messageses.
Thanks
