Rocker C Battery Options
I bought a 2008 HD Rocker C, I'm not sure if it has the original battery or if the previous owner replaced it... but one way or the other it was good for 11 yrs or 9 yrs, I bought it in 2010.... so no complains.
Im looking to replace it but there are several options available... please give me an idea of what you have and your experience with the type of battery.
Note: Im leaning towards a Seal AGM battery... looked into the new Lithium Ion Phosphate battery, but I don't ride this motorcycle very ofter (only 9700 miles on it) and don't know if it is worth the extra $$$. Thanks.
They're a little smaller, a lot lighter (12-14 lbs.), they crank stronger and longer, they hold a charge longer, and on average they last twice as long or longer.
I think Shorai is the best out there, I installed the model below in the Rocker first, liked it, and now have one in both my bikes. It's 540cca, and has a 36 Amp Hour Rating, which is way higher then most!!

I decided to go "old school" and bought a MotoBatt, NumberMBTX20U, CCA310, Capacity (10HR)21
A little better than my stock battery and maybe I'm lucky again and get 9 to 11 yrs out of it... and for $75 at a local store... can beat the price and support a local business.
Thanks for the advise.
However the next battery I get might very well be an Antigravity "Restart".
Lithium has come a long ways within the last few years and I like the idea of with the "Restart" you'll never be left at the bar due to a dead battery (at least that's the claim).
I have the Antigravity XP10 jumpstarter and have been very happy with it.
