I don't know really. I just didn't like the way HD did the fix on the '07 Fatboy with the offset wheel and didn't understand why they offset it at all when, I believe the '06 SE Fatboy had the same tires with no offset.
They weren't on the floor, but since I am buying their first '08 SERK they're getting, the salesman took me to the back of the shop where he showed me the new anniversary colors and they were setting up a '08 Fatboy in the shop.
I didn't get a '07 Fatboy but six months ago I bought a '06 Fatboy (which I am keeping) from Fletcher's for $2000 off.
If I had bought a '07 I would look into how they fixed the front in '08.
I'm getting the Black Diamond and Silver Dust with Ghost Flames SERK supposedly Aug. 3.
Just came back from my local HD. They had the copper/black anniversity models of a sportster and a Fatboy on the showroom floor. The boy really looks nice.... but the front wheel was still offset to the right side of the bike. Look at the fender brackets molder into the forks. The left side extends noticeably further then the right side.
