I have a FSM on the way, but I'd like to do a service this weekend on the 2011 Fatboy Lo I just picked up. Can someone do me a favor and post the capacities for it? If I'm not mistaken, the 96ci Softails were:
Crankcase - 4 qts (could be 3.5 like the 88, though - can't remember)
Primary - 1 qt
Trans - 1 qt
3 quarts for the engine oil. The manual says initial fill 2 quarts and then add until it’s full. My 2017 Heritage takes 2 quarts plus 20 ounces to put it slightly below the full hot mark, which is where I like it. 28 oz. for the trans and 36 for the primary but it’s easier to just pour a quart into each one. The trans will be a few oz over full but it doesn’t hurt anything. The primary will be a few oz under spec but that doesn’t hurt anything either.

Thanks man.

Like I said, I already ordered one, but it's not going to be here before I do the service, so I was just looking for a quick reference check. I have what feels like a whole library of service manuals on the shelf, but this isn't one of them yet.

Here`s an idea, just pour in the correct amount, seriously how much more effort does it take?
Fill the primary until the level just touches the clutch outer shell, with bike straight up.
