Default Ape Hangers...

What are your honest thoughts about these? Looks, too tall, just right, etc?

I think they look great , suits the bike , but in some places anything above the shoulder is a No No . I have had all heights on previous bikes and I've always been more comfortable with them being just below the shoulder , but that's just me .

Bars look to be a perfect height for you but the more important thing is how they feel. You do look forward on the bike perhaps a seat change from the stock Deluxe seat would work well for you...will give you more leg room and straighter reach for the bars. I picked up a low-mile Deluxe over the winter and at 5'10" I'm waiting on an Ebay Heritage seat to arrive as we speak. The stock Deluxe seat was too low and forward placing for my like and comfort.

I agree... I was tempted to move the bard forward a little. I am 6' tall with longer arms but shorter inseam. I like the low profile of the seat but agree it places you forward a bit. I also have thought about taking some of the foam out of the back of the seat to see if it would place me a little farther back.

Great advice though.

From my research on this forum it seems a Heritage seat will move you back about 2in and raise you up about an inch. I think from your photos that would be an overall improvement to your riders triangle (hands/feet/butt). I wouldn't change the bars they look great!

I love the look! i have 14's on my bike and i like them for around town riding. unfortunately i feel that highway riding has taken a hit as i get blasted with wind. not that i ride on the highway alot but just my opinion.
