Default Lindby Bars

I have been watching prices of the Lindby Bars for a while but hated to spend that much. Problem was they were the ones I liked.
On Lindby's website they show they are $399.95. Anyhow, I kept looking and the other day went to Amazon for the 800th time.
There they were at the same price as always. However, I looked at the section that shows other sellers and there was one for $189.00.
I clicked on it and it said Like New with light scratches. They noted someone bought and returned it. So I gambled and ordered it.
Came in yesterday and mounted it last night. One spot had a couple minor scratches. Came in original packaging with all the bolts.
I went to the hardware store and bought black bolts to use since it was black. I guess whoever ordered it did not like the design or
did not like the distance from their feet. Either way saved me $211.00. Free shipping.
This is on a 2013 Fatboy Lo.

Good job! They make it really difficult to find the good deals!

How close are they to your foot boards? I’d really like the magnum bars for my heritage but I don’t think they will fit with my half moon shaped boards.

Frez, I'm not familiar with the half moon size. Lindy makes these so there is about 1/8th " clearance between the bar and the front of the foot board on each side.
The Magnum is thicker in diameter but they probably take that into consideration on the hole in the bolt bracket. If you look at the bottom picture on the left side of the bar you can see
a flat bar that goes from the bar to a bolt hole in the frame. They may adjust the length of the flat piece or where they drill the hole so you have the same clearance.
If the half moon shape boards fit further forward than the stock ones they may not fit.
I would make a call to Lindy or send them an email and ask. I like mine enough if it was within an 1/8" or less I would file a little. They are so close it would not be noticeable.

Interestingly, the Linbar comes in two base variants, according to their website: One fits 2000-2017 Heritage, Deluxe, Fatboy and Slim, the other fits 2000-2017 Softail, Custom Softail, Deuce, Heritage Springer, Crossbones, Rocker, Blackline, Breakout. (years as applicable)
Now, obviously, the first set of bikes all have floorboards. But in the second, there is at least the Heritage Springer and the Crossbones that also have boards, so I am not sure what the fitment issues are here.
According to Linby this is due to the forward controls, but I can´t quite wrap my head around it...

Have a good one, niv

The difference is in the supplied hardware for fitting (110-1 v 111-1). The 111 part number has an extra spacer for the top bolt. I believe the actual bar is the same. I fitted the 110 on my Rocker with out the spacer

And that is the irony of it: On the Linbar, I do have the option to order it for the Blackline specifically, but on the Magnumbar (which I'd really like to have), I don't. I am hesitant to risk that the approrpiate fir here, too, only depends on a spacer and not something which cannot be remedied that easily...

have you contacted Lindby? They responded well to me when I asked the difference between 110-1 and 111-1 part numbers.
