My 2007 sprayed what looked like clear mineral oil on my front cyclinder head. It wiped off easily enough but kept returning. I asked my mechanic about it and before I could finish my sentence told me it was normal. The Harley "grease" is more like a thickened mineral oil. I SOLVED my problem by putting Mobil 1 grease (red in color) into the zerk fitting. I have never had the "spray" of mineral oil "grease" since that time.
You'd think that if they finally put seal wheel bearings on...they might sealthe steering bearings.....?
I guess they wil do that for the 115 annivesary models.
I haven't noticed mine leaking lately....I guess i will go squirt some in there. LOL
