Default Maybe selling my 1995 FatBoy?

Hey guys, I've owned my Harley for about two years now. My FatBoy is in great running condition and I've done a bunch of stuff to it.
I'm thinking of selling because I plan on doing more travelling up north Canada. I might be looking for a cruiser for more passenger comfort (my old lady....lol) and luggage storage.
My question is, "What is a good asking price for my FatBoy"?

KBB has trade in at $3860 and Dealer listing price at $6120...typical cash sale will be between those 2 numbers...you would get more money if you returned it to stock, and sold all the "bling" separate...

The used Harley market sucks, and has for several years...good luck

I’d see you listing it for $6500 to start from there. If after a week or two with no bites you’ll have to drop it down. As was said used Harley Market is jammed with too many bikes. A buddy just picked up a 07 eglide standard with 12,000 miles for $8000. Another bud picked a 05 deluxe for $4800. Back in 16 I stole my 09 custom for $6800. Outside of the street glide and road glide most Harleys are not fetching big bucks.

Your bike is beautiful I love chrome however we’re few and far between these days of blacked out everything. Check Facebook marketplace Craigslist and you’ll get an idea what you can get for it. I still see it from time to time but there’s always that one guy that thinks his 20 year old softail is worth $13,000 I scroll right past thinking to myself good luck buddy.

You're absolutely right Dave.
I was thinking around $9-10,000 Canadian, which is around 6800-7200.
We'll see, I might just keep it and next year go for a nice Street Glide?
Thanks

I’m in the same boat I got my old 1990 Sportster I spent a **** ton on, I can’t get anything for it. It’s a four speed rigid mount motor. I did a 1250 old ported 86 1100 Sportster heads Andrews V4 cams Dyna2000 ignition full Andrews gears and shafts Barnett scorpion clutch Zippers billet trap door. HHI midglide triple trees. I asked 5g I was offered $3,750 I figured eff it I’ll just keep it and look at lol.

Don`t sell it...

Put a set of Cycle Visions brackets on it and find some OEM hard bags, a good seat, and hit the road.

That’s a beautiful bike, I’d keep it and get a second bike if you really feel it’s necessary. Personally, I don’t. You can make that bike do anything the one you’re considering will do.

It`s a 25 year old bike, Harley or not, it is nothing but a 25 year old used vehicle.

It is worth far more to you than any prospective buyer.

Consider a set of Cycle Visions saddle bag brackets and find a set of OEM bags from mid `90`s-2013.

A good seat....hit the road with money in your pocket.

I go with keeping it and setting it up for your purposes.
