Interesting! Looks like I was given some bad info at the dealership. I was shown gloss when picking out the bars and was under the assumption that is what the parts guy was ordering. When I went to pick up the bike, they were matte and when I questioned him on it, he said they were only sold in the matte finish. It looks like that may have been to cover up a mistake. The head of the service department had them powder coated gloss black at no charge to make things right.
At least it was made right for you and at no cost to you.
The story is short. I checked Amazon for parts after deciding those were the bars I wanted. But I have a Springer and the bars are not one size fits all and I didn't trust the Amazon listings. I called my local shop Hill Country Cycle and they said they were on back order in the size I wanted for the Springer but they had them in 12" and for standard front ends.
So I called Wild 1 and spoke to the guy that designed the Outlaw bars. I explained to him my plight. Long story short, he made the bars for me and had them PCd the matte like I wanted and shipped them out. He said after my one set of bars was done they were doing a batch of gloss and offered the gloss to me instead if I wanted them. I didn't but the service through them was awesome. So someone was mistaking or lying to you.
Hello Keener3rd. Yeah, that's what I did first. The design center guy was real helpful showing me some different setups on bikes they had in stock. After all that, I was still not sure what I needed. I think, maybe because it's different sitting on a bike versus riding one for a half hour. Then riding for several hours probably would give me a different opinion on what to buy. Thanks for the input.
You can also go to a dealer and sit on a few bikes with different bars to get an idea, which is what I did. Not exactly a scientific approach, but it was close enough for me when replacing the bars on my Slim. I ended up with the same bars as RIPbiker13, but had theM powder coated to match the forks due to my OCD.
Looks like you have your bike all tricked out. I'm just now starting the job, a little at a time. I think I need to do a group ride before I feel sure I know what bars I want. Any good group rides out in there where you're at?

I was very lucky. It’s a 2016 Slim S, so it was already blacked out and the original owner put the V&H pipes, Memphis Shades quick detach windshield and a Mustang seat on it. It only had 1,054 miles on the clock when I bought it in August of last year and I’ve only made a couple of changes. I picked up a like new Forge LLC quick detach sissy bar, a like new set of HD quick detach saddlebags and had the plate and taillights relocated when I had the handlebars swapped. Believe it or not, with the exception of the handlebars, I found everything on Facebook Marketplace including the bike. I did also put Custom Dynamics LEDs in all of the signals a few months ago as well.
I have never done a large group ride. I typically ride with a close friend and, on occasion, I’ll go with three or four others. As far as fitment, my parts guy did a great job of giving me a pretty accurate estimation of where the bars would sit and the width. I had also put mini apes on the Nightster I had, so I was fortunate that I also had that as a frame of reference.
As has already been suggested, it sounds like mocking things up might be your best bet. I hope you are able to find exactly what you want and get that start on making the bike your own!
Here’s how I did my bars . I found 4 bars that I liked ,ordered all 4 and got Free shipping . Received and pick out the one I like the most and pay $18 bucks to ship back the other 3 .
Bars are a PITA when trying to fine the right ones !

Thats how I do it also IH with certain parts. I’m lucky to have many friends that let me klride their bike over the years also to try different set ups.
