I have had the unlucky flat tire three times. First time new tube, they fixed it for free, 2nd time same thing, 3rd time new tire needed, replaced for free. The first 2 during year one. The last one 2 years later.
If I need a starter, etc, 50 bucks instead of hundreds and hundreds!!!!!!
my bike is covered for 7 years, I am sure that it will be worth every penny!
Worry free riding!!!!!!
I bought into the 7 years with Road Hazard as well... I had the bike for onlya week where I had a rear flat on my STC... Dropped it off at the dealer for repair, and when I picked i up later in the day with a new rear tire I signed the bill for $0.00...
For the peace of mind I thought it was worth it and since I used it... Sure made me glad I got it...
Did all the ext warranty people get the extra life ins for your loan, and the diamond gloss paint protection? i guess if you don't know a cam shaft from a spark plug you better get all the warranty you can. in most cases a do it yourself guycan fix or replace for less than the warranty cost. if the motor blowsi will upgrade to a big bore kit. if the tranny goes out then a six speed goes in. allupgrades i would like to do anyways...
when I bought my 07 Street Glide I purchased the warranty. My dealer stated that any upgrades done in the first 60 days would also be covered. I just ordered a 08 Rocker c and will be buying the warranty on it also.

The HD warranty, as I understand it, not only covers the repairs but also covers up to $75 a day for rental vehicle as well as some of the other costs associated with a break down away from home (motel, meals, etc.).
This is part of the reason I decided to get the warranty on the '07 Springer I bought. I do some traveling here and there, so the coverage while on the road is appealing. I didn't get the extended warranty on my '06 Sportster since it's a much simpler motorcycle and I'm not as worried about expensive repairs, if anything comes up that I can't fix myself. On the Springer, however, between the EFI, newer 6 speed tranny and other things that would be more complicated for me to fix myself I figured better safe than sorry.
Someone else here mentioned any parts added within 60 days also being covered. Is that a standard HD thing with the extended warranty? If so, I guess I'd better get mine in for the Stage 1 before that time runs out.
I got it but ended up returning it for a prorated amount, It wouldnt cover the things i was most worried about, paint issues & cosmetic stuff, mechanical stuff can be fixed by me & my pops, but i cant do body work, I dont have EFI & ive never had any problems through 12K on my springer, I did keep the maintenance plan however that covers all scheduled maintenance for 7 yrs
