I have Mobil 1 V-Twin 20-50 in all 3 holes in my 06' FXSTI. Installed by a Harley Dealership. Only 2500 miles but no problems. I also ran it in a 05' XL1200C with no problems either.

I have run Mobil 1 in all my cars for the last decade and highly recommend their products and they are easily available.

How did you convince a dealer to put in non-HD oil?

I gotta cool dealer will put on and order aftermarket accessories and let you bring in your prefered oil on services.

I run Mobil 1 in crankcase...Belray gearsaver in tranny, and syn 3 in primary (because I still have some left over)....40,000miles on itand no problems.

I also took my own oil (Amsoil 20w50 and Amsoil Severe Gear) to the dealer at my 5k service. They put it in and deducted the cost of oil from my service charge. No hassles at all. Even gave me the last 8 oz. of severe gear back.
