Default Tool Kit storage on a FB

I have a 2004 Fatboy and I was wondering if there was any where on the bike one could safely store a tool kit other than puttingin a saddle bag.

I ride without any bags and was thinking why would there not be a compartment somewhere for the basics?

thx
Fred

Get a toolbag. there really isn't a place on the bike as it comes. I found this strange too when I got my fatboy.

I don't think it's strange that it doesn't have a glove compartment, but then again i've never had a metric bike. [&:] Like Anubisss said, get a fork bag. Check out the Willie & Max stuff, I like it.

I fitted the HD tool box - part number 64983-07 on mine, problem solved. I bought the liner as well - On a fatty though you can only fit the left side as the shotgun pipes prevent the right one being fitted as a pair. Snap-On do a good toolkit that fits inside.

I put sunnies, disc lock, phone etc in mine, the lock is dummied to accept your ignition key (or anyones elses including a most vending machine keys)

I added a small bag that mounts behind my license plate. It is small enough to not stand out so bad but big enough to hold some sunnies and a set of allen's.

If you are from Oklahoma and a Boomer Sooner I bet you carry some Wild Turkey also just for the chills when its cold! I'M a Long Horn fan and I keep a little Southren Comfort in mine! L.O.L., and it will not be to much longer for the TEXAS STATE FAIR and will have to put up 50 and send Y'ALL back over the RED RIVER, but its all in fun! HEY! PURPLE HAZE. Y'ALL try not to tip the Boomer Schooner wagon over this year!
