Default Useless high beam?

Just wondering if anyone else has an issue with their high beam on a 07 stock headlight. Mine seems worthless, the low beam is way more user friendly. When I switch to high I have very limited visibility... seems super unsafe. Maybe it is an isolated issue that I need to take up with the service tech.
Thanks

I agree with you. Ihad the same issue with my 07 Fat Boy. I also wanted more light to see better at night butdidn't want my FB look like a Heritage, so I replaced my stock lame (weak) yellow bulb with a PIAA bulb, big difference, whitebrighter and greater illumination at night, cheaper an easier than installing a light bar. Try it. Hope this helps.

I agree with you guys. I think the high beam is worthless. Can see much better with just the low beam.

check adjustment. It may be pointing too high. Most people do. just an idea.

It seems odd to me that HD, or any other manufacturer for that matter, let something out of theirfacility that functions as poorly as these high beams do. I live out in the woods so illumination at night is a big deal. The last thing I wanna do is hit some big ol critter because I didn't seeit in time. I wonder if they would work with you to fix the problem.

I have the exact year and make bike as you. Good taste. Anyway, I had problems with my light, so I bought a Sylvania Silverstar H4 bulb from Autozone. It is quite a bit brighter and more white. I also had to adjust my headlight down. They must figure the average rider is something like 175 lbs, so if you're bigger than this or carry a passenger, your high beam is flagging down 747's in the sky. Follow the instructions in the manual for going back like 25 feet and shining the light on a line on the wall while you're sitting on it to get it just right. These two changes really improved things. Not perfect, but it is MUCH improved.

I went with the DUAL bulb upgrade from Harley. not sure if they make it for your size headlight.

its much better then stock. with each reflector made for each bulb, the high beam punches out alot more then stock and you still have the stock low beam on all the time.
