Ive got a 2020 FXBB and love it, but would appreciate a bit more power from the brakes. Has anyone tried the Arlen Ness big brake kit (on any softail) and, if so, whats it like? Thanks.
The rear brake is very weak and Im thinking about a pad change for that, just to give a little more power. Any recommendations?
Much better rotors, pads, calipers, out there than what Arlen offers. Being a 2020 model one thing to consider, it's new and most manufacturers are still catching up.
Take your time before deciding.
Thanks for the advice. The thing I liked about the Arlen Ness kit was its simplicity: bigger diameter disc and a bracket to reposition the OEM caliper. Simple bolt-on job to achieve a claimed 30% increase in stopping power.
Thanks again.

Thanks for any thoughts/advice.
The angle of the rear brake pedal is a problem on the new softails, I test rode a 2020 low rider s so I know. I'm sure there is a fix out there by now. I would def research that before messing with the pads, rotors.
