Swing arm issue I am building a 2001 Harley Davidson heritage classic and am having issues with getting swing arm as well as rear axle bolts that fit I've bought 3 different bolts and none have been long enough to use they have been 13 and 13 1/4 inch the issue I'm having with the swing arm bolt is I have inserts that stick out on the outside of my swing arm about a half inch each making the bolt to short does anyone know what bolt I need to get to fix this issue my rear axle bolt has the same issue of not being long enough please help
Posted this on your other post too. Are you sure the bushings are not in backwards? I can see the spacer pointing towards the swingarm, not away like they are installed. Just doesn't look right at all.
Something assembled wrong or aftermarket bushings in that swingarm.Bolt head and nut should sit flush.

Was it ever together?
As far as rear axle, it will pull in a bit when tightening nut, but shouldn't be any issues getting nut engaged unless swingarm is bent outwards
You sure you have correct spacers there
I have stripped it down to reconstruct and found my swingarm was broken. so I looked ebay and could observe ones for a 125 in great condition and I got one under the supposition it would fit and it doesnt. my unique shaft doesn't fit through the 125 headings so I took them out and the genuine openings in the swingarm are marginally more modest. so I was contemplating purchasing a 125 axle however them it wouldnt be cozy were it goes through the motor. could this be alright? or then again do I have spend a mint on one for a 250? im a piece befuddled as im OK with instruments yet this is my first bicycle, assuming anybody could help that sounds incredible. Much appreciated
