Could someone give me an idea of what is going on with my Heritage.
My bike vibrates in my floor boards quite a bit and then when i get up to 70 mph it seems like the whole bike vibrates. When it vibrates, it doesn't seem to go through the gears right. I feel like i need to keep shifting up in a higher gear cause the bike is dragging and doesn't seem like it has the power. This doesn't happen every day. It will run great for a day or two then it will start up again.
It's a 2000 and i had an easy clutch put in last summer. My front tire is dipped some and is worn but i would think the bike would vibrate all the time if it was the tire???
I rode to work (35 miles) around 6am, then on the way home the bike vibrated pretty bad. I don't understand why is doesn't do this all the time. Of course, i am a female and i get this for an answer.... A Harley does vibrate you know!!
I have been told motor mounts, clutch, primary chain.. I don't want to pay to have the bike torn apart if not needed.

That is where I would start...sounds like you need a new tire anyway...Tire pressures change quite a bit with the temperature...even while you are riding...might be why you notice it more at some times than others.
I have one ordered...
The lack of power in the bike bothers me when this happens.
I am getting a full service on the bike too. I usually put between 15 to 20 thousand miles on a year.
Check the head bearing also get someone to check the spokes on the wheels when they are doing the tire.
Maybe give some though to dyna beads when you get the new tire, for the front and back.
Did you get answers? I now have the same problem and was told I need a total rebuild.

The OP from this thread you just referenced posted it in 2010.... and hasn't been on this site since then (2010), so you probably won't get an answer from the OP...
Your question will get more views, and'll you'll get more current information, if you start a new thread with your specific issue and your specific symptoms....
It's hard to diagnose an issue via the internet, so the more information you provide, and the specifics to your issue will help people offer suggestions...
