Default Breakout power issues

Hi all. I’m having trouble with my breakout and figured I’d check here for some help. To start, I rode the bike a week ago with no issues. I’m gonna separate what I’ve done to make it easier for others to troubleshoot.

i went to turn on the bike and had headlights and tail light only. No response to the speedometer, hand controls, or fuel pump. No signals or even flashing lights when I move the bike without the fob. Fuses are all fine with none blown.

We had a cold week in Texas, and I think it may have impacted the lithium battery. When attempting to charge it, the charger showed an error that the battery has fully discharged.

bought a new battery and still have the same lights with no other response.

I’m thinking the ECM is shot. I will pull that next to check for corrosion.

any other thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Does the bike have the H-D security system installed?

Don't know what year your bike is, but check for corrosion at the ignition switch.

Bike is a 2015.. I’ll check the ignition switch for sure tonight.

there is something drawing power because I hear a click out an electrical current sound every ten seconds when the side switch is turned off.

Last night, I pulled the main fuse to allow the battery to charge. Put it in this morning and with the key fob near, I again get headlights and tail lights. Also when I turn it off, the rear lights will flash for the security system (not the front).

so it appears everything in the front harness appear to be not functional.

Have you added any new electrical accessories to the bike?

Nope not in line. . I added front air shocks, but they’re hard lined to the battery. Removed the connection just in case and the issue persists. Changed the bars, but nothing pinched and has run fine for at least a few weeks since.

Where did you ground the compressor?

The compressor is wired straight to the battery. Main power has a fuse, but no other wires to ground. That actually runs fine.
