Don't do this. I just did mine and I fried my accessories fuse.

Tried it. Didn't work but I didn't burn a fuse either.

Found this. Both wires will have voltage. Since you said there's voltage on both wires with power on but the pedal isn't pushed, the front brake switch may be the problem. It may be stuck on.

Ok...so nothing seems to be obvious why I would get voltage from both leads for the brake switch. The only other thing I can think of is that there's a short some where under the fuel tank. Not sure if the front and rear brake wiring has a common circuit, but I did notice a same colored wire (orange and yellow) under the seat going forward through the main harness under the fuel tank. Not sure how could happen but does anybody think that may be possible? I haven't touched anything under the tank.

The front brake switch could be stuck on.

Doc's one of my go to video' guys when ever I have a problem. I've looked at this video several times before I posted here. This one doesn't answer the question of why I would have voltage on both switch wires. Will be going to my closest dealer on Tuesday to pick up a switch and ask some questions.
