My girl friend has a bad back and suffers from discomfort when riding. Where can I go to get a custom sissy bar pad made that will provide an alternative? There's 3 models from HD, tall, medium, short. We've tried the tall & medium but neither are right. Would considera set of adjustable floor boards or pegs that would fit my 06. I swapped out the stock pegs for floor boards but she can't adjust her feet which might help? I'm told by HD there are no adjustable boards or pegs that fit with my pipes (stock w/Rush mufflers). Any ideas welcome. With all the people with back problems there's got to be a solution somewhere. Thanks
What problems is she having with the tall and medium height sissy bars? I mean, does it make it any better, worse? Maybe someone else will chime in, but it makes sense to me that you should try a short sissy bar that hits her right in her mid-lower back because that's where most people gets their back pain and that would provide support in that specific area. If that helps, but doesn't totally cure it, get a better passenger pillion (Mustang, etc., etc.) I'm not sure about all this, but it's just what would make sense to me.
Not sure for the sissy bar part of it but I believe it's Kuyakyn that makes adjustable pegs. I'm pretty sure people on here have said that they put those on along with the passenger floorboards
