Unless you are a competent wrencher who has worked on Big Twins you would never know that before you can remove the primary case cover you must remove two chain inspection cover bolts. Those two bolts fasten to the inner primary case and can destroy the chrome case trying to get it off.

I have found many "little things" like that over the years when wrenching on my bikes.....
Just one reason I always suggest people get a factory service manual for their bikes...

It is entertaining to watch some of those YouTube videos where some idiots are trying to take apart the clutch basket and are turning the nut the wrong way and come up with creative ideas on how to lock the primary. "Are you not entertained?"
