Do yourself a favor and get a pair of the orange frame guards. Most of the jacks lift on the shocks under the frame and not the frame itself. Done too often or left too long on them and they may be damaged by the weight of the bike.
The protectors are under $20 and well worth the investment.

I was careful to miss the shocks underneath when I used it, but for 20 bucks it'd be good protection.

it was a harley jack sittin at the dealer shop. I wanna say it was like 300 or 350. wife got it for me so who knows

Nice jack. I bought motorcycle jack from an auto parts store for around $50 it works great. I had looked at others but the one I bought has all the same featurs as some of the more expensive ones just cost less. So I took the money and bought more stuff for the bike

Citoriplus,
1st off thanks for your service, and for my benefits. I retired in 2005 (25 years, Army) & had a LOT of benefits explained to me on the way out the door. I know that's because of those who came before me. Many of you folks left the service with not much of anything to help you make your way back into the world. Our government is often too slow to take care of it's own, but because of the road your generation walked before mine...we have more waiting for us. From one soldier to another thanks for that.
Do you possibly have a link to these frame gaurds your speaking about? I bought a sears jack & would like to add a set of these.
