So my question is, is it possible to add cruise control to my bike? Who or where can I take my bike?
This past year I took two trips; one on my Freewheeler which has cruise control and the other on my Heritage which does not have cruise control.
To be upfront yes when I was on the trip with the Heritage I did miss the cruise control so I certainly understand why people inquire about this and why Harley added cruise control to the Heritage.
It seems this subject comes up about once a year.
Once whomevers inquiring figures out the cost and challenges involved in making this work the annual thread just kinda dies out.
As Oscar can attest to adding cruise control is certainly something that can be done if ones willing to put forth the money and effort to make it all work.
If you search the forum for cruise control I think youll find the information than you need to make a determination as to whether or not you want to embark on this upgrade.
However my bet is once the cost and challenges involved are known this thread as previous ones have done will simply die out.

Thanks for the info! I read this years ago, but I didn't get around to asking some questions.
Does your current system 'turn off' the cruise when you pull the Clutch ? or when either
the front/rear brakes are applied ?
Thank you for any insight.

Yes it does. I have a harley cruise module and it shuts off when brakes are applied or if rpm climbs over 10% of current engine speed. I did not wire in a roll off switch on the cable, instead I used a 3 way switch that kills cruise.

Following this thread. I would love to have cruise control on my 08 Heritage. I bought a used 2009 Road Glide once that didn't have cruise. The dealer said he could get it installed for me and we walked over to sthe service area. Unfortunately he couldn't find the parts anywhere at any dealer. I don't know if they would be the same parts or not. Post your findings if you find something.
Good morning Jerry,
This is exactly what I am looking for in Chrome! Thank you for sharing and with the picture of the box (thank you for picture!), I googled EZ Cruise and called the number (disconnected) and can not find this company. This simple slip on throttle lock would be awesome. Wish I could find it. I will keep looking but am afraid they are out of business

I see the difference that explains the price - the original and the one on e-bay are 'electronic' whereas
the one I posted from Amazon is manual. In my opinion, its kind of bad that the Amazon version uses
the same name though...

Mine is electro-mechanical and has lasted 23 years from the install at HD. Little waterproof booted button at your throttle thumb. Works perfectly, disengages touching either brake, never tried the clutch. Although it does not change rpm like the newer cruise, when engaged it applies friction to the throttle grip so you can adjust faster or slower.
