Hi all, I will be picking up my first harley next week after many years of riding metrics and Vic's so I have a quick question. Im picking up a '99 FXSTC and it has the Ultima 100ci motor in it. What is the part called that covers the gap between the tanks, this bike appears to be missing that piece. TIA for the help.
thanks everyone, Im told she is LOOOOUUUUDDDD. it had the evo swapped out for a 100cube Ultima mill at some point and from the pics I have I can't see the pipes so I have no idea if it has short shots or sweepers etc etc. I want to move to thunderheaders if I can find them which right now I can't find a listing for them for an EVO.
while im here does anyone know if you can change the pod or housing that the speedo sits in this one is chrome and I am toying with the idea of swapping it to black if its a relatively painless job.

Painless job needing just basic mechanical skills...
Your OEM Instrument panel is #71254-96
Here is just one black one, claiming to be a compatible part, that I found in a quick search...
That's awesome, I've been searching ebay all day and I couldn't find one that listed my bike. I guess when you know what you are looking for its much faster lol.
