Just picked up a 2011 Harley Davidson Blackline. Came with a few extras already installed and Im about to do a full 3 hole oil change on it - However, im curious to this catch can? I havent seen it after scouring online for a few hours. Can anyone help identify it/provide some advice on how to clean/maintain it?
I ask because on my ride home from picking up the bike, i noticed that theres some smoke coming out of these cans when stopped at a light. Im assuming it could be an overflow of oil thats getting heated up by the engine?
So it looks like its more a breather than a catch can. Should I be concerned if I find oil in these? Took a napkin and noticed a few drops oil seeping out of them.

Really no concern about a few drops of oil. But if there is a lot of oil, or again, lots of visible mist all the time, there may be an issue with the engine.

But each Twin Cam is different. Some have more general blow-by and/or breather bypass that others. Running the oil level at the full mark and then running the engine hard seems to be a recipe for more, rather than less, breather system mist/oil...
If you have the tools and the time, you could always run a compression and then leak down test if you suspect something is amiss...
Just looking at the design and layout of those makes me think right away - Oil breather mist = mess. They are below the breather bolts and oil is going to gravitate down no matter what.
It's the engine's breather system to relieve pressure - It is going to have some oil misting. I would consider a different setup.
I made a "T" of the two hoses and ran it up to the main frame and then looped back behind the battery and down. Then any slight oil that forms in the hose can run back into the engine. Did the same on my Triumph twin. Seems to work fine, no mess.
