Default 9267 Wheel Bearings

I'm getting ready to replace my bearings, and wondered if one brand was as good as another, or is there a brand that is better than most? I found a cross reference number of a DH559339 and it was more costly than the average 9267. I also have found 100 different places that sell the 9267 but again, is one place better to buy them from? I'm just looking for the best bang for my buck,

Bearing manufacturer matters, not where you get them. Avoid the china made brands.

Ok, do you have a suggestion on who or where to get them from? I've been looking since you replied and I can't find anything that isn't made in China

My bike requires the same bearing for the front and for the rear. It's a 9267 bearing. And even the ones from Harley are made in Brazil. My bike is an 03 Heritage Softail.

Hard bearings to find because the inside diameter is 3/4".

If it were my bike, I would use the OEM bearings.

I think a lot of the problems people have had with OEM sealed bearings is they don`t understand the installation process.

Bearings do not have a long life when improperly installed.

That's not a problem, I've worked in machine shops all my life. I have the correct bearing removal tools and a hydraulic press and know how to properly install them.

Problems with bearings typically happens '08 and up. I personally have never heard of a '00 to '07 bearing problem, regardless of source.
My '00 Road Glide got new ones at 100,000 miles (turns out they didn't need it,) and the '02 Dyna that replaced RG (Sig pic,) still runs the original OEM without issue.

A hydraulic press is not the tool for installing sealed type Harley Davidson wheel bearings, you might get away using a press for the first bearing, but not the second.

When you install the second bearing you need to gently seat the bearing against the inner spacer, and the install tool needs to react against the other bearing.

If you use a press, you will push the second bearing down until it contacts the inner spacer, and once contact is made it will cross load the first bearing via the pressure on the inner spacer, you will not feel it.
