I just bought a 2015 Softail Deluxe, FLSTN, as is. It has the TC103 and anti-lock brakes. Supposedly all stock. It has just under 11,000 miles on it. I'm now finding out that there is a big parasitic draw, about .8 amps. It goes away when I remove the fuse labeled BATT 15A. I've disconnected so many connectors but nothing conclusive yet. Has this been a common issue with any particular component? Thank you for any tips and insight.

These newer bikes have parasitic amp draw, does your bike have a security system on it? .8 amps doesn't seem like a lot.
Thanks. It would be great to know that this draw isn't so bad. For a bike that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles it seems to have a great deal of wiring all over the place!!
Hope this helps. Pick softail. the stated fuse is on the second drawing, bottom center. .8 amp is a lot, your battery will be basically dead after just one day.

I could be wrong but it's possible that they all get the same wire harness but if the bike didn't come with all the options a lot of the wires don't get used. Same thing in cars and trucks. I've got a basic Chevy Silverado that has a whole bunch of plugs which aren't hooked up to anything.
Thank you for the wiring diagrams. I'll be going over them today. The batttery will, in fact, die out in just one day. .8 amps is the same as 800 milli amps. That's one heck of a draw.

Don't forget to let systems go to sleep. When you 1st apply power it wakens the modules and some can take 5, 10, 15 minutes (or even longer on some vehicles) to go to sleep. Inline amp meters, while they do work, are not the optimal way to check draw due to the sleep cycles of the various modules. I've switched to an Amp Hound, it piggy-backs the fuses so you don't have to deal with the wake/sleep cycles.
