B2172 and b2173 BCM codes.
Recently I added the security alarm siren on my m8 softail and seeing a fault code for BCM. b2172 and b2173. 2172 can be cleared but 2173 cannot be cleared. Alarm siren worked for few times but does not work anymore. Security system works fine but security system light stays ON after turning on the ignition and does not go out even when engine is running. No other issues with riding the bike. Both codes come back on restart. Tried unplugging alarm and also tested the wires for H2 connection from siren to BCM. No short circuit found. Any idea what to do?
