Default Softail duece sissy bar

Anyone know where to get a sissy bar that mounts between fender and bracket?

I see a Deuce in your sig pic, so I reckon you know.
How do those brackets bolt up without creating a gap between fender strut and fender?

That I don't know, as I've only ever used the stock HD sissy bar that's shown in my sig pic. The gap has to be at least as thick as those sissy bar plates though, which would look horrible to me personally. I imagine one could notch the fender struts to make them sit flush again, probably wouldn't be more than 1/8" deep...but it'd most likely mess-up the chrome finish doing so.

To be honest I didn't know those sissy bar brackets, that I linked to, even existed before yesterday. My reply to the OP originally started off with "it doesn't exist" but figured I should try ye olde Google machina first, and I'll be damned if those links weren't top of the search results. (I'd given up on finding anything else but the stock one, since the dreaded "except FXSTD" was brow-beaten into me years ago when shopping accessories.)

I agree, they'd look like azz without mod/metal/fab work to the fender struts
Just wanted to make sure the OP knew there are no "bolt on" for the Deuce. (that will look good)

If capable with cutting/grinding tools and drills....
I modified this to add a sissy bar to mine

Amazon.com: Kuryakyn 8998 Motorcycle Accessory: Plug-N-Play Sissy Bar Component, Mount for Harley-Davidson Softail, Dyna, Sportster, FXR Motorcycles, Chrome : Automotive Amazon.com: Kuryakyn 8998 Motorcycle Accessory: Plug-N-Play Sissy Bar Component, Mount for Harley-Davidson Softail, Dyna, Sportster, FXR Motorcycles, Chrome : Automotive

It needs modified/cut and drilled to fit.
also need to drill fender .

Bike's still winter covered and tucked away, or I'd take a pic of what I had to do.
But here's how it looks and allows me to strap more stuff than before
(When I had the same back rest pad as yours)

Not gonna lie, that looks really good. Would love to see some pictures on how you modded it to work, once the bike is out of storage.

will do
and that might happen in the next week or two.
I'm anxious to see what it feels like with my new bionic hips.
left was replaced 8 weeks ago today (it's ready to get on the bike now) right replaced 2 weeks ago.
Too early yet, but should be good enough for a tryout putt in two weeks

Here's how i did it.
Note, I don't know right way or the wrong way
Just "my" way amateur hour

I forget why I cut as much off the front of the bracket as I did.
But recall I had to cut some off

I drilled three holes in the bracket
Two new bolts and used one stud from the oem back rest plate.
Had to do some grinding for the bracket to clear the two back rest bolt/studs

when locating drill hole, have to make sure the slot hole at rear allows access to seat bolt

I ground off the seat screw and replaced it with a longer stainless screw with #3 Phillips pan head

the sissy bar came with phillips head screws
I replaced them w/stainless cap screws due to rachet ease in and out
(have to remove sissy bar anytime I need under the seat)
I discovered phillips can't get tight enough to not vibrate loose without locktite
