Softail 2007 won't start
It has sat for a couple years in my garage without starting. The fuel smelled a little foul. The alarms finally got me to the battery store for refreshing the FOB (please not they can be installed upside down and not work) That got me to the point that the engine turned over strongly but not start. Everything looked normal as per the operator's manual, except no fuel pump sound of pressuring up and a gas pump light on the speedometer./odometer indicating low fuel. So I added maybe 1-1/2 gal to the tank, and it looked plenty deep for a startup. However, same thing. Turns over strong but no start.I have searched here some more and watched youtube stuff. All great advice but I'm still stuck. I've gathered some other conditions and list them below.
o Battery turns engine over strongly
o Fuel pump pressure up is not audible
o Switch on fuel gage shows empty
o Switch on fuel light on odometer is lighted
o Upon turning switch on no click at system relay (is this the fuel pump relay)
o No voltage either side of fuel pump fuse (fuse is good)
o Other 9 fuses are hot both sides when switch is on
o fuel pump fuse and 2 spares are separate sort of from the other fuses
.0have not checked spark with carb cleaner or pulling plug
o Have not checked for problem codes
Any Suggestions?

Check codes.... that may lead you in the right direction.
DISCLAIMER: I have 4 Twin Cams, 2 Softails, and no 2007 models; so you will need to look up an electrical schematic for your model/year to see if I am right, or my mind is mixing/matching years/models....
Based on your list, the fuel pump is NOT getting power.
"o Upon turning switch on no click at system relay (is this the fuel pump relay)
o No voltage either side of fuel pump fuse (fuse is good)"
IIRC, on that year softail, power goes from the System Relay, to the fuel pump fuse, to the fuel pump.
If no power to the fuel pump fuse, check the relay.... remove it, clean the contacts, and test it...
NOTE: Because I have a few bikes, I always keep a spare Starter & System relay in my parts bin. They are cheap enough for me to keep spares for swapping to check for a bad relay & replacement... But there is a procedure to test the relay itself, without swapping, if you are on a budget.
Or... you could TEMPORARILY switch it with the starter relay and see if the fuel pump activates when the key is turned on.
NOTE: I believe the system relay has a diode for protection of some circuits, that the starter relay does not... so just swap them for the test. if it works with the starter relay, put the starter relay back in its place and get a new system relay.
If it's not the relay, you will need that schematics you looked up to verify my memory/guess, and start checking the power circuits that control the System Relay to find the disconnect...
I'm not an electrical guru, so that's the best I could do... and like I said, verify my memory with schematics.... they will be good to familiarize yourself with in any case...

So on top of getting the fuel pump working, make sure what it squirts into the engine actually burns.
Please report back what you find as the resolution, that's the way we all learn...

"P1005"....?
I can't find that code..
Closest I could find were; B1005- Fuel Sending Unit High/Open, and P1004- System Relay Contacts Closed EFI
So what is the "dreaded p1005 code"...?
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Then that is for the Fuel Sending unit...... I don't think that has anything to do with your starting issue...
But it could signal that the old gas corroded parts of the fuel system....
