Default Fuel Pump ?

My 07 Road King won't start. It ran fine a couple of days ago. The battery is fully charged, the lights come on, starter cranks, fuel tank is full, fuses are good. The only odd thing, is when I turn on the ignition switch and push the run button, I don't hear the fuel pump pressurizing. Does this mean I have a bad fuel pump, or could it be something else? I would appreciate your ideas. Thanks.

Check your kill switch.

The kill switch is on run, the fuses are OK, and I don't have a way to check codes, without hauling it to the shop. If I don't hear the whirring sound of the fuel pump and the yellow indicator light does not come on for a couple of seconds, but everything else is working, does this mean the fuel pump is dead, or could it be something like a clogged fuel filter? It acts like it isn't getting fuel and I don't hear the pump as usual.

Check the connector on top of the tank. Also check the "system" relay.

You can check for codes through the bikes self diagnostics using the odometer.

When you say connector on top of the tank, are you talking about an electrical connector? The cross over fuel line in front of the tank and the fuel line under the tank with quick disconnect to the bottom left rear of the tank are OK. Can you tell me how to check for codes using the Odometer? I thought you had to hook it up to a computer to check for codes. Thanks to everyone for your help. If I knew what the problem was, I could fix it. The hard part is figuring out the problem.

If you use the handlebar kill switch to shut off the bike (cycle it a lot) you may have a bad switch. You may want to turn it to ignition and mess with the run/stop switch a few times and see if you can get it to make contact. That's what it sounds like to me, or a fuse blown somewhere.
