Default Itchy Nose Syndrome

Does anyone else experience this or am I just weird? At turnpike speeds of 75+, the Heritage vibration makes my nose itch. When I slow down to 65, it quits. My wife stared at me for a full 20 seconds, then exploded in laughter.

Any chance your mustache is moving around in the wind and tickle your nose? I get the same problem but figured it was the mustache.

YIKES!!!!! I didn't even check the names of the posters.......... You're right, I hope her problem is different. Either way, I got a good laugh out of your reply. How about itchy nose hairs. Everyone has those.

Thankyou for your concern, but I don't think a mustache is the cause of my problem. I usually shave it off with my lady schick before a long ride. But, thanks for asking. LOL

I get the same thing. Curious to know if folks on softails with out windshields or lower wind deflectors have the same sensations.

With the softail engine mounted directly to the frame ya gotta get some vibration transfered to all unsprung parts, even with the balanced engine. The seat post (or what is supposed to resemble a seat post) is landed firmly between the tranny and the fork in the frame behind the fuel tank. Could be engine/tranny vibration starting in the tail bone and up the spine and out the nose ....... Or maybe its the vibration from the bars, even thought so slight, radiates up the arm bones etc and the nose being out front is the final stop ....... Could be the harmonics of all rotating parts at certain speeds setup the vibrations .... just some thoughts......

I don't have a moustache. If I did, the way the bike vibrates, I's probably flog myself.
