Mic the outer bearing and go to NAPA and get a bearing with a 1” ID. You will need the spacer also.

I would want no part of the following guessing. Having a wheel failure can get you worst then dead.

I think you have a rare Duece with dual brake rotors.

And yes, it had a 1" Axle. Regular Duece then was 3/4 since it shared a modified Sportster parts front.

You are really trying to engineering with guessing. You could cause the hub of the wheel to break. That's going to be close to 1/4" of material to fit the bearing spacer thru that hub.

Now you could turn the spacer smaller from HTS stronger steel and the hub you have is the 25MM.

I would want no part of that guessing. Having a wheel failure can get you worst then dead.

A 2004 CVO deuce uses a 3/4" front axle. Softails didn't even use a 1" front axle. They changed the front from 3/4" to 25mm in 2007 ... The Rear in 2008

Why can't people check their facts before posting? ... just look at the parts diagram/list

You wrong. I have a 2004 and tried to convert it. The CVO SE DUECE has a totally different slider.

I guess the mother ship thought it needed it different for more stopping strength.

I only discovered it when I got the slider for the lugs for the caliper mount.

I thought if his new hub is 07 and 25 mm, you can get bearings for that swap to 1" I thought.

The New-to-him wheel is a 04 (3/4") and his 07 axle is a 25mm NOT 1"
When did we start talking about sliders? ... we're talking about Wheel /axle / bearings

Again, if you look up a 2004 Deuce (Std & CVO) you'll see that both use a 43354-00 axle and 9267 bearings ... 3/4"

FWIW, Here's a CVO front wheel ... 3/4"

Well this was my 04 and it took me a while to find a buyer for it with the caliper mounts and the bore in it for a 1" axle.

And we saw the same thing. But the Harley dealer had order it and would not take it back.

Been too long ago but maybe he order it for a tour.
