Softtail chrome toolbox for 07 fatboy
Hey does anybody know if there is a right hand side chrome toolbox that fits 07 fatboy? HD shows that the left one fits but doesn't seem to list a right hand side one.... am I missing something, did Harley? ... or do they just not make a right hand side one?

Strange they would make a LEFT tool BOX but not a RIGHT for your bike.
I would have to take a right side box for a '06 and hold it up to your bike to get and EYEBALL measurement. I have a 2000 Fat Boy......and the only thing I needed after installing the tool box (right)
was a passenger peg extension. But since I ride solo, I skipped that part.
Also, just because Harley doesn't list your bike, doesn't mean the part won't fit (I.E a 2006 tool box on a 2007). I have a couple parts on my bike...that when listed in the Harley catalog....doesn't say it will fit.
The first one is on page 354...item E. Doesn't say it will fit a 2000 FLSTF does it?
Also page 352...item F.I installed both on mybike.
So I would eyeball a tool box for a 2006........see how close it looks.
Doesn't take long to install........make sure you can return it if it won't fit for some reason.

RHS toolbox don't exist because of the Stock Pipes on the '07 Fatboy, so if you have slip ons it's a no-go too. You don't have slip ons so you can put a '07 RHS one on. They fit the stardard, custom and a couple other models.
I called a dealer about 3 months ago on it, and they confirmed this. Vert also said that there was a footnote in the small catchup catalog saying the same thing; that if you don't have the stock pipes the box will fit.
Part number is 64982-07 .........

i recently added the harley tool box to my softail deluxe on the right side. My prefrence was the left side but the vance and hines true duels put a crimp on that. it would not fit with this exhaust. I beleive the right side tool box is made but depending on certain things like exhaust it may not fit

It will fit... if you exhaust pipe isn't in the way. If your pipes are under and over the tool boxwon't fit. Note where the box bolts on.Change your pipes the only answer.

Any idea why the LH tool box is listed as compatible with the 07 Fatboy but not the 08? I just bought the RH set up (box & extension bolt for peg) for my 08 Fatboy but as mentioned above it will not fit with my stock exhaust. I saw no 'footnote' mentioned in the catalog or HD website about this. Will the LH box fit the 08?
