Had a real eye opener about a month ago. I went back to the town i grew up in, for a celebration life. I ran into a lot people i hadnt seen since i moved out, 40 years ago. Seeing how everybody had aged, was mind blowing. I could only picture them, as the way i remembered them and im sure they were thinking the same of me.
At least you remember them I see people I went to school with and have no idea who they are lol .
I am amazed at the technological advances from my 19 RGS to my 24 CVO ST, and the aren't that far apart in years! What amazes me is how much smoother my 1985 Honda V65 Magna rides than the 2019 did before the suspension upgrade. And then the stripped down version of my 24 Softail Street Bob with no technology at all. Just an engine, fuel tank, a couple of tires, and a throttle.
Such a difference in technology and age between the two. How's the difference in ride?
Ride wise, Vibration is huge, specially after 55mph, no comparison in the braking and of course power, not even close. In all fairness, there is 37ci more, but with the technology that goes into the new heads and the higher compression in the stock bikes, that would make a big difference. Holding the road and corning is more stable as well.
Like u mentioned, such a difference i technology. I wouldnt have time to type it all out. From as simple as a gas gauge, to having 3 ride modes. Saying that, the 91 feels like its in rain mode, all the time. lol

Yes i know what u are saying about your V65. My first bike was 1983 V45, I remember it being very smooth as well. You always remember your first right. lol
I had a 19 SGS and the ride wasnt as smooth, as my 75 FLH with aftermarket shocks.
