Well, my wife needed more comfort on the bike, so that means a nicer seat (instead of the corbin youn guns I had) and a sissy bar. Well only one problem, I didnt like the HD turn signal re-location kit that was availible. I also looked at the bubba's brakes kit with the signals attached to the lay down licence plate, but I didnt like that look either. Then I found it. After reading craig06flstci's thread on switching out his tins, I discovered the Panacea tail light from Kuryakyn (well it was new to me atleast) that has the built in turn signals. After seeing it on his bike with out the signals I knew it was for me.Since my mom (love her to death) is out for a visit and gave my wife and I her old seat off her Herritage softail along with the sissy bar and detachable hardware. Well my Mom also decided to buy the Panacea tail light so my wife could be more comfortable. (Thanks mom). So after taking off the old signals we got some chrome button head allen bolts with some ny-lock nuts to fill in the holes on the fender struts where the old signals were, we got it all buttoned up and I think it looks great. So what do you think? Let me know.
Looks great. Now I gotta thinka bout doing that. With my luck, I'll get a ticket for no signals immediately is my concern. How about a shot of it with the brakes on so we can see how bright it is...

Turn signals are built in to the tail light. They flash amber when you turn on the signals. Ill post some pics of how bright the brake, turn signaland running light are when it gets darker outside.
Well I looked on the California vehicle codes and all I could find about turn signals on bike is they are required and that they must flash either amber or red to the rear and amber only to the front. Maybe a LEO will chime in.
And here is a few videos of the light in action (sorry about the poor quality but its with my old digital camera). First one is for 4 was flashers so you can see the turn signals work
And this one is for the brake light coming on. I have it set so that it will flash quickly when I brake (in hopes of getting more attention since I no longer have the seperate turn signals.
Its the stock seat off a Herritage. It was free from my mom so I cant complain. Its just going to be for 2 up riding, otherwise ill just keep my corbin on.
For the smoked tail light the P/N is 4833. They have different ones that as far as I know all have the turn signals built in. Here is a link to thier sight.
