I'm new here and have looked a littlefor the answer to my question in thisforum. So please, go easy if this has been discussed and I missed it. I've got a new 07 Deluxe and just purchased the SoftBrake Tombstone housing and plate relocation bracket (under the taillight). I was wondering if anyone makes a replacement Tombstone lens with the clear spot for tag lighting on the bottom of the lense? SoftBrake mentions that they are available (from somewhereI guess, they don't say where). I've scoured the internet and ebay but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know SoftBrake hassome tag frames with built in LEDs for tag lighting, but the LEDs seem to be exposed to the elements (not sure if this is good or not).
I use the same cover and relocation plate for my Deluxe from Softbrake.com and what I did is remove the bulb for the license plate and install and wired a license tagcover with a led lights (order here: http://www.customdynamics.com/illumi...0Plate%20Frame) . I ran the wire under and hook it to the original wiring for license lights. I haven't seen any replacement cover with clear bottom.
Sorry for the photo quality but here it is on my Springer.
Funny thing, that extra hole at the top of the plate bracket
you have is exactly where the wire comes out of the
lighted frame.

Vette, any reason you have been using customsdynamics's licence tag instead of the one from softbrake? aren't they similar?

I used a plate frame that has built in LED's, worked out pretty good. Its a Kury frame BTW
07 Deluxe - that is a sweet setup - did you paint the softbrake relo bracket black or did it come in black? Could find a curved one with integrated LEDs at kury - do you have a part number?

Try part number 9182; you will find it in the metric section of Kury's website. I installed my licence plates way before softbrake came out with their bracket, had to drill holes in the fender (OUCH!) but it got me the look I wanted. I did buy softbrakes tail-light housing eliminating the top licence light.

07Deluxe - got it thanks - never been in Metric territory on Kury's site - good thinking though. Will go for the softbrake setup/ Cheers
