over the weekend it has started working very spratically. sometimes it will come on, other times it wont. I will check the shop manual when I get home but thought I would toss it out here also.
First thing to check would bethe electrical connection on the tranny, from the sound of it its either a loose electrical connection or the adjustment of the sensor is off a little.
Ta-Da, and another poor sucker saved from the clutches of the rip off artists in the dealership.
J/K, to be fair most dealers after hearing your descrition would have checked the plug before they bothered to write up a shop ticket, found the loose wire, fixed it for nothing and sent you on your merry way, I know I would if I was a dealer. It makes good business sense from my point of view.
But there are a few less than honest ones out there that would not have been so nice. And if you ever find one of themin your area juststay as far away from them as possible.
C'mon.... real bike rider's don't need a neutral light Takes me back to my dirt bike days!!
